Mahesh Subramony

Brief Bio

Mahesh Subramony, PhD is a professor of management at Northern Illinois University, where he teaches change leadership to undergraduate and MBA students. His research examines the ongoing transformation of frontline service work and the strategic value of employment systems. Mahesh has worked for Fortune 500 companies and conducted analytics, change management, and talent development projects with organisations including Follett, Manpower, Society for Human Resource Management, and Southwest Airlines. He also delivers talks and workshops at practitioner forums on topics related to human capital analytics, the future of work, and frontline service work. Mahesh’s scholarly publications have appeared in top business journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management, and he has served as associate editor for the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Service Management, and the Journal of Service Research.

Ani Filipova

Brief Bio

With a rich 25-year career in international banking, Ani has held diverse Leadership roles in product, relationship management, branch network, operations, risk, and audit. Her roles spanned Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Notably, she played a pivotal role in the establishment and continuous management of three banks, including Citibank Bulgaria. Between 2015 and 2021, Ani was the Regional Chief Operating Officer for Citibank Treasury and Trade Solutions in Asia, a $2Bn Business covering 16 countries, including India and China, focused on transformation, digitisation, and culture change. In April 2021, Ani made a bold move from her corporate life, embarking on a diverse portfolio career as an entrepreneur. Her current roles include being a change advisor, career coach, lecturer, speaker, and host of her own podcast dedicated to career changes, showcasing her adaptability and versatility.

Rajesh Mehta

Brief Bio

With 35+ years of extensive global experience in transaction and corporate banking, Rajesh is a senior executive leader who has led large regional businesses in Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Latin America for Citibank. He has a thorough understanding of the transaction banking industry, its trends, clients, participants, products, business drivers, technology, opportunities and challenges. As the former Managing Director and Treasury and Trade Solutions Region CEO for APAC at Citi, Rajesh leveraged his domain expertise in payments, liquidity management, and trade to anticipate market shifts, drive business growth, implement transformational change, and develop top, diverse talent. He is passionate about innovation, emerging business models, change, and growth and has a strong reputation as a board member and a mentor.
